About me
Helping you feel safe, supported and understood after early parenthood trauma.
I'm Dr Miriam Inder
People who have experienced trauma during their early parenthood journey often struggle with feeling distressed and overwhelmed. Difficulties which aren’t always recognised by people around them. I understand this.
I started Better Beginnings after experiencing challenges in my own parenthood journey. I became passionate about using my expertise as a perinatal clinical psychologist to help people feel safe supported and understood and be able to shape their journey ahead.
After helping to establishing a team of specialists in perinatal mental health within the NHS, I realised the power of therapy to transform parents emotional well-being when it was delivered at the moment of greatest need and when parents felt ready.
I am dedicated to creating a difference for each parent, couple and baby I work with. Providing therapy both in-person (Chelmsford, Essex) and online to make it as accessible as possible.
