About me

Helping you feel safe, supported and understood after difficult journeys to parenthood

I'm Dr Miriam Inder

People who have experienced difficult journeys to early parenthood often feel distressed and overwhelmed. This isn’t always understood by people around them.

I started Better Beginnings after challenges in my own parenthood journey. I became passionate about using my expertise as a perinatal clinical psychologist to help people feel safe, supported and understood and be able to shape their journey ahead.

After helping to establish a team of specialists in perinatal mental health within the NHS, I realised the power of therapy to transform people’s emotional well-being when it was delivered at the moment of greatest need.

I am dedicated to creating a difference for each individual, couple and baby I work with. Providing therapy both in-person (Chelmsford, Essex) and online to make it as accessible as possible.

I am registered with all the major health insurers.
